Pet Therapy at Sharp Hospital – Emerald Gown makes a Cameo

Introduced in 1996 at Sharp, the pet therapy program has grown to 20 volunteer pets, including 18 dogs, one cat and a rabbit. These affectionate creatures help brighten the day of patients and their visitors. Studies show that pet therapy may even help with the patients’ clinical recovery.
