Emerald Textiles™, a Southern California commercial laundry service for health care providers, is proud to announce its selection by Sharp HealthCare as exclusive provider of linens and linen services for all Sharp facilities. Emerald Textiles recently opened the most technologically advanced laundry facility in the United States.

Sharp HealthCare is a not-for-profit integrated regional health care delivery system based in San Diego. Emerald Textiles provides linens and linen services to Sharp’s four acute-care hospitals and three specialty hospitals, as well as to 19 Sharp Rees-Stealy medical centers. Sharp estimates it will save $1 million on linen rentals and services in the first year of its partnership with Emerald Textiles.
Emerald Textiles’ San Diego facility is housed in an 111,000 square-foot industrial building and outfitted with the most advanced technology available. Fully compliant with all federal, state and industry standards, it is the first commercial laundry in San Diego to provide 100-percent separation between the soil and clean areas of the plant, which is supported by positive air flow and automated processes.
In recognition for its advanced energy and water saving management systems, Emerald Textiles recently received the SDG&E Savings by Design Award, an award created as a partnership between the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and San Diego Gas & Electric.
